When I was a little girl, my parents and teachers read to me a lot – every single day. Listening to stories was my favorite thing to do.
When I grew up and became a teacher, I read to my classes a lot – every single day. Reading stories was my favorite thing to do.
Nowadays, I write my own stories.
My work has been published in Highlights, Ladybug, Humpty Dumpty, and lots of other children’s and teacher’s magazines.
Here are my first ten books….
What? You can only see TWO of them? That’s because I’m still writing the next eight… or sixteen or fifty-four. With any luck, they’ll be here soon.
When I’m not working as an author, I’m working for Bloomfield College. I supervise student teachers, and help them be the best they can be. I tell them to read lots of stories to the kids in their class.
When I’m not working as an author and I’m not working for Bloomfield College, I do volunteer work. I read books on tape for the blind and handicapped. So, if people can’t read print and they can’t read Braille, they can listen to a story on tape.
I also volunteer with TheraPet as the human half of a therapy dog team with my dog, Cupcake. We visit veterans at the VA Home and kids read stories to us at Read-To-A-Pet-Night at the library. Cupcake is a rescue dog, a therapy pet, and a blogger. Click her picture to visit her blog.
